Our goal at the World of Eldin, is to provide a simple and efficient medium to effectively running your town if you chose to go down that road.

The way our new building method will work goes as following according to the above table. Depending on your city size (reflecting your in game rank, ex. Baron=2,500 tiles) you will have two building slots available. Now that you’re aware of how many slots you have available (can be found in tables above) you will be able to chose as many buildings as your tier allows, from anywhere except the nation area.

Common Misconceptions

The building it self doesn’t need to occupy the minimum size required for that building. What needs to follow the size requirements is the region associated with it. Lets look at an example: The town hall of a city doesn’t need to be exactly 400 tiles big (this being the minimum size). The region of the town hall is what needs to be at least 400 tiles big. We don’t want to force players to build things differently from what they planned based on our size requirements.

The cost for building tiers are additive. For example a Tier 2 Apiary would cost both the Tier 1 price + Tier 2 price, costing a total of 22,500 Trade Bars. A Tier 3 would cost all three price tiers, for a total of 45,000 Trade Bars.

There is a minimum standard of work required for your buildings. For example, if you are making a bakery to boost the price of bread, do your best to make it feel like a functional bakery. These buildings are an opportunity to diversify your city and make it feel alive. Buildings that have had little effort put into them will be denied.

Town Hall

Setup Fee:

Bonus Applied:

  • Allows for creation of a Town.
  • Dynmap marker with the name of the city

Requirements to Construct:

  • A 20×20 (400 tile) area
  • Four walls and a roof
  • There must be rules posted inside the Town Hall that describe what your citizens can and cannot do. These rules cannot be changed later, take your time and make sure your rules are final.
  • There must be a minimum standard of effort put into a town hall. Decorate it, do your best to make it look good.
  • If your townhall looks like you made it in 5 minutes, we will not approve it.

Dragon Travel

Setup fee:

  • 10,000 Trade Bars

Bonus applied:

  • Provides a station that connects your city to the Dragon Travel Network
  • A slow form of automated travel
  • An npc will be given to interact with the Dragon Travel
  • Dragon Travel costs 50 Trade Bars per use
    • Free for peasants or lord and above

Build Slot?: Yes

Requirements to Construct:

  • A 15×15 (225 tile) area
  • Must be a fairly tall tower (taller than surrounding buildings)
  • The top of the tower has to be open from all angles to allow the dragon to land without clipping through blocks

Port Authority

Setup fee:

  • 30,000 Trade Bars

Bonus applied:

  • Provides a station that connects your city to the Port Authority Network
  • Instantaneous form of travel
  • An npc will be given to interact with the Port Authority
  • Port Authority costs 300 Trade Bars per use
    • Free for peasants or lord and above

  • A 20×20 (400 tile) area
  • Must be some form of transportation
    • Train
    • Boat
    • Balloon
    • etc.

Market Square

Setup fee:

  • Tier 1: 10,000 Trade Bars
  • Tier 2: 20,000 Trade Bars
  • Tier 3: 30,000 Trade Bars

Population Needed:

  • Tier 1: 0
  • Tier 2: 5
  • Tier 3: 10

Bonus Applied:

  • Tier 1: Server Shop
  • Tier 2: Auction NPC
  • Tier 3: Head Shop

Requirements to Construct:

  • A 15×15 (225 tile) area
  • A shop space for the Server Shop
  • Two additional spaces for Player Shops (25 tile area)
  • Include some sort of landmark, be it a fountain, centerpiece, or statue, etc.

Jail

Setup Fee:

  • 0 Trade Bars

Bonus Applied:

  • Creates a location admins can jail players to

Requirements:

  • Some kind of jail cell, stockade, or cage

Guild Hall

A city is allowed to make as many Guild Halls as they desire.

Setup Fee:

  • 10,000 Trade Bars

Bonus Applied:

  • Created a Guild Hall that the city owner can then sell to a prospective Guild

Build Slot?: No

Requirements:

  • A 20×20 (400 tile) area
  • The City owner does not need to furnish the Guild Hall, that is up to the Guild that purchases
  • Four walls and a roof
  • Keep in mind that Guild Halls might be in high demand, do the best you can to make it look appealing

Tavern

Setup Fee:

  • 15,000 Trade Bars

Bonus Applied:

  • A Tavern allows players to sell different alcohol from the Brewery Plugin
  • A Town Owner is allowed to choose 7 brews from the list here
  • In addition to buying the alcohol that is chosen, the NPC will sell books that have the ingredients of three basic drinks

Mob Arena

Setup Fee:

  • Have a Mob Arena set up in your city
  • Mob Arenas give out a variety of rewards, including:

    • Potion Ingredients

Build Slot?: No

Requirements:

  • A 20×20 (400 tile) area
  • The plugin itself has a number of requirements:
    • A Lobby is required. This space must be closed off with no entrances or exits, and include an iron block (the iron block is used as a ready check)
    • An Arena is required. You can design this arena however you want. The arena has to be fair to players AS WELL as the monsters that will be fought. Fire trap and lava traps are allowed as long as it isn’t an easy win for the players. Make your arena interesting. It must also be enclosed with no way to enter or exit.
    • A Spectator Area is required. This is where players go when they die in the mob arena. Most players make their spectator area above the arena in some way so people can still watch their team advance. It must also be enclosed with no way to enter or exit.
  • It is 100% allowed to ask for barrier blocks to replace some other block to allow for a better arena experience. For example, if you want your arena to be an open field, then surround it with wool blocks and ask them to be replaced with barriers. Staff is flexible and we will do our best to accommodate what you want for an arena

Spleef Arena

Setup Fee:

  • 0 Trade Bars

Bonus Applied:

  • Have a Spleef set up in your city for the occasional fun game or event

Build Slot?: No

Requirements:

  • A 20×20 (400 tile) area
  • The plugin itself has a number of requirements:
    • A Lobby is required. This space must be closed off with no entrances or exits. This is where players wait for the game to start
    • An Arena is required. You can design this arena however you want. To make the game interesting, include multiple levels of snow blocks, thereby making your arena more fun and challenging to play. It must also be enclosed with no way to enter or exit.

Nether Portal

Setup Fee:

  • 15,000 Trade Bars

Bonus Applied:

  • A Nether Portal will be made in your city

  • A Scrapyard is a form of server shop that will allow players to sell back tools and armor for 50% of their price
